Skill type: Collecting

Effect of puting points on the skill: Raise the items' drop rate and allow you to fish different types of swarms (Fish Swarm or Bontiful Swarm).

Items you get:

Sashimi - Can be used on Commerce Pass quests. Is stored on your inventory, in stacks of 15 max.
Fish Meat - Can be used to refuel your ship by 30 ~ 60 (double click to use). Is stored on your ship's cargo in stacks of 15 max.

Requirements:

Level 15 (the minimum level to buy a ship)

A ship equiped with a Fishing Net

To fish Fish Swarm: lvl 1 Fishing

To fish Bontiful Swarm: lvl 2 Fishing

Note: To get a ship talk to a Builder NPC and choose "Build Ship". On the "building window" you can select some of the ship's parts. To make your ship capable of fishing, choose "Fishing Net" on the "Component" option.

Using Fishing skill:

Fish Swarm are shown on you mini-map as orange dots, and when you get close to them you can see fishes swiming close to the sea surface:





Click on the fishing skill (or press the shortcut key to it) and click on s Fish Swarm. You will get a system message saying "Fishing in progress...", you will see a fishing net coming out of the front part of your ship, and you will see the items droping:
