How to make screenshots / signatures/avatars ingame update*
Welcome to the guide for making in game signatures and avatars . :

Green = Parts colour
Red = Normal Signature Steps
Cyan = Normal Avatar Steps
Blue = Animated Signature Steps
Purple = Shorten URL Steps
Black = Explanation of the steps
Part 1) Normal Signatures / Avatars
1) Start paint .
Go to start menu -->Hold your mouse on "All programs" --> Go to Bureau Accessories --> Clik on Paint Icon.
2) Run Top.
Go to start menu --> Search for TOP icon --> Run TOP .
3) Where do we take our screen shot ? :
Log in --> Search for a place where u want to take your screen shot .
( I took The beach for example )
4) Let us see your character much better. :
Search for the Scroll on your mouse ---> Scroll / Zoom in --> Let your character look to the camera.
So,now can you see your character much better
5) Lets make some options.
Option 1) Start firework and ask some friends so you can have a party screen shot
Option 2) Make him wear something you want
Option 3) Play with the emotions . Example : Use the dead emotion on a beach and say : I'm sunning on the beach .
U see u got much options , think of a option you want
6) Now lets take the screen shot !
Make your choice out of the options --> Make your character ready ---> Look for the Print Screen SysRq button
( Look on the picture below there can u find it )--> Do your option --> Press the Print Screen SysRq button
7.1) Where did the screen shot go ?
Open Paint --> Press Crtl + V --> Now you should get something like this :

7.2 ) Where did the screen shot go ?

Once your program is open, click on "File > Open...", browse for the screenshot you want (remember it will be on the "Tales of Pirates Online/screenshot" foulder) and open it.
8) Cutting the picture (1) .
Select the tool that is shown below
9) Cutting the picture(2) :
click a point not so far from your character / what you want for your signature
--> hold it till the end of what you want for your signature/avatar --> You should get something like this if you want a character on it :
10) Save it with a name . :
Do it like shown below --> So you can find it back fast if you want to upload it
10.2) ( for avatars ) Cropping the avatar .
Go to http://www.picresize.com/ --> Upload your picture --> Resize it to 100 X 100 pixels -->Save it
11) Uploading the picture .
Go to a site like www.imageshack.us --> open your picture --> upload it -->
copy the : Direct link ( with me it is ) :
12) Setting your Signature .
Go on-line in the forum -->Go to Member’s CP --> click on edit profile :
12.1) Where do I need to put The direct link?
Now if you did copy your direct link from your image paste it in the red square
If you want that it looks like a image then you must have these codes on :
And there u got your signature or avatar
Part 2) Animated Signatures

How to make Animated signatures
1)Preparing for animation .
Start Menu --> Top --> Log in --> Take some screen shots( Repeat the steps from above till step 10)
These are the screen shots I'm going to use :
2) Download the animation program

3)Lets start to make the animation
Run the animation program ( easy Gif animator 4 ) --> Click on Add images --> Select the images --> click on next
4)Settings of the animation
Chose Yes , play the animation infinitely --> Chose the speed in the start there stands 50 how lower you how faster each image will play ( I did chose 20 cuss it looks more realistic then )
how fast you want to set it is your choice
5)Preview
Click on button shown below --> If its not fast enough reset the speed of every image
6) Saving the animation
Go to File --> chose save as...
7) Uploading the animation
Go to a site like www.imageshack.us --> open your animation --> upload it -->
copy the : Direct link with me it is :
8)Setting your Signature .
Go on-line in the forum -->Go to Member’s CP --> click on edit profile :
9)8.2 Setting your signature
Now if you did copy your direct link from your image paste it in the red square
If you want that it looks like a image then you must have these codes on :
Part 3) How to shorten The URL
*) If your URL is to long
Go to 1 Of these sites
http://notlong.com/
http://tinyurl.com/
http://www.snipurl.com/
I did used : http://notlong.com/
Step 1) Paste the direct link into the " Long URL box "
Step 2) Save as and copy the shorten link
( Note : If your signature is to large resize the image not the animation ! )

It is possible to view your ToP Screenie library in one place, and it is also very convenient! It is the folder called "screenshots", in the foulder where you have instaled the game (usualy: C:\Program Files\Tales of Pirates Online\screenshots). Once there, you'll see folders with different numbers, like so:
And you can find old screenshots back there .
